The Settlement Services program works with newcomers and immigrants to help individuals with their settlement needs, learn about the programs and services in Windsor-Essex and meet new people.
Individuals can attend various workshops to learn about living in Canada, develop skills and connect to their community.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Permanent Residents
- Persons in Canada applying to become permanent residents and who have been informed, through a letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, of the initial approval of the application subject to an admissibility assessment
- Convention Refugees, and Temporary Residents who have entered Canada as a Live-in caregiver

- Initial needs assessment
- Referrals to community services
- Employment support
- Workshops
- Interpretation
